The Carrick & Wee Demon Loch Lomond Golf Courses
Just a short walk or shuttle ride away from Cameron House in Loch Lomond lies the golfing jewel in Loch Lomond’s crown.
The Carrick Golf Course
The world-renowned The Carrick golf course. Designed by the acclaimed course designer, Doug Carrick, The Carrick provides a truly memorable round of golf. The 71 par course is perfectly designed to fit in with the surrounding landscape. Set across the fault lines of the Scottish highlands and lowlands, there are 9 holes set in each. The front nine holes are played over relatively flat, open land while the back nine are set on a higher elevation with magnificent views of Loch Lomond to the east and Ben Lomond to the north. Whether you choose to take the high road or the low road, you’ll be guaranteed a breath-taking round – just watch out for the rather large water hazard.
The Carrick Golf Club
As well as the Carrick golf course being a PGA championship course, The Carrick golf club offers an array of top quality golfing facilities to ensure that all your pre and post-game needs are met including our Golf Shop, Driving Range, Golf Academy and private tuition and our halfway house, The Highland Laddie.
After taking your final shot on the “Carrick Hame” closing hole, head towards the clubhouse where you’ll find your reward in the shape of The Claret Jug. Whether it’s a hearty post-game meal, or a refreshing drink to celebrate your triumph on the course, The Claret Jug provides a spot for some well-deserved rest.
Whether looking to perfect your putt, improve your handicap or enjoy a round with friends whilst soaking up the breath-taking Loch Lomond scenery, there is something for every golfer at the Cameron House resort. And if golfing isn’t on your agenda, you can enjoy the views of the course from the comfort of The Claret Jug or the rooftop infinity pool at the award-winning Spa.
