Seaplane Trips

The stunning scenery surrounding Loch Lomond is second to none. And what better way to enjoy the spectacular views than with a bird’s eye view from the comfort of the Loch Lomond Seaplane. Departing from the pontoon at the Cameron House estate, sit back, relax and enjoy the seamless take-off from the tranquil waters of Loch Lomond. Soar high above the famous Munros of the West Coast Highlands, including Ben Lomond, and explore approximately 70 miles of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, before stepping off the seaplane to a chilled glass of champagne. We promise you’ll be arriving back on dry land with a sense of awe and a wealth of new memories to enjoy long after your luxury lodge break ends.

Hawk Walk

The bonnie banks of Loch Lomond provide a majestic setting to experience the thrill of falconry. The Hawk Walk at the resort will teach you how to handle a bird of prey, including how to correctly call and cast off the bird. Once you’ve got the basics down, you’ll be taken into the grounds of the Cameron House estate and allowed to put the theory into practice. The feeling you get when you correctly call a bird of prey and have it land on your arm for the first time will be an unforgettable moment that you’ll cherish long after your luxury lodge break.

For families looking for an unforgettable falconry experience, the Family Fun package offers an introduction to three types of birds of prey, including owls, hawks, eagles and falcons. Suitable for children aged over 7 years, the Hawk Walk activity allows each person on the Family Fun package to learn how to hold and fly three different types of birds.

To book a falconry experience, please call 07792 263 982.

Fishing

Because of our location in the southern corner of Loch Lomond, we are right beside the mouth of the River Leven. This is a great spot for any angler to cast a reel and try their hand at catching some of the best fish in Scotland.

With a wide variety of native fish in the loch, you’ll easily find a brown trout, eel or pike, while expert anglers love trying to get their hands on some Atlantic salmon, Eurasian perch and roach.

In order to take part in any fishing activity in the loch, you’ll need to have a permit; most of those you’ll see around the loch are card-carrying members. These can be purchased from tackle shops all over the area when you’re getting some bait.

If you would like to arrange a Gillie, please call 07786 233 332.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

If you’ve come to the Cameron Lodges looking for an activity that is completely different from the normal country escape, then our clay pigeon shooting is the alternative you’ve been searching for. Spend a few hours down by the breath-taking scenery of Loch Lomond and fine-tune your senses as you get to grips with your aim.

Don’t worry if you’ve never had the pleasure of partaking in such an exciting activity before, we have guides that provide expert advice that will see your aim improve dramatically in a short time. You’ll soon go from having that slight twitch of anticipation to feeling comfortable with your gun in no time at all.

If you would like to make a booking or find out more information, please call 01389 711 190 or 07745 277 320.
