Electricity Charges at Cameron House

Electricity at Cameron Lodges is on a competitive commercial tariff. We pass on to you the direct charge from the electricity supplier. Your electricity usage is sent electronically to us from the meter in your lodge and is applied to your account on the morning of your departure.

The charges for electricity are calculated as follows and are applicable to all lodges at Cameron House:

  • Cost per unit of electricity is 0.14p
  • The electricity supplier’s daily standing charge of £0.60 per day
  • The shared estate charge of £1.00 per day (for owners)

All charges are subject to VAT at 5%

To keep your electricity charge down, we advise you to turn off heaters and lighting in rooms that are not being used. Make sure that the lights outside your front door and on your balcony/patio are turned off when not required and please remember that tumble dryers use a considerable amount of electricity.

The charges applicable at The Cameron Club Lodges and Apartments are:

  • Night rate = £0.1114 per unit
  • Day rate = £0.1508 per unit
  • The electricity supplier’s daily standing charge of £0.4762 per day
  • The shared estate charge of £2.00 per day (for owners)
