Christmas Breaks in Scotland
On Christmas Eve, there will be the sound of pipes awaiting guests’ arrival. Then there will be a whole host of events including Mrs Claus telling the tale of ‘The Night Before Christmas’ as well as whisky tasting, cooking demonstrations, cookie baking and then some warm mince pies and a hot toddy beside the open fires to round the evening off.
Santa will be making a visit to those good boys and girls choosing to dine in the Cameron House restaurants on Christmas Day.
On Boxing Day, there will be a family treasure hunt around the Loch as well as birds of prey demonstrations and then later in the evening, there will be a ‘Gathering of the Clans’ ceilidh for all to enjoy.
New Year Breaks & Holidays
New Year should be a time of the holidays to remember, so join us in preparation for yours with Scottish dancing lessons and whisky tasting on New Year’s Eve. Be greeted with our highland piper providing a traditional Scottish welcome.
The evening Hogmanay celebrations will begin with our Pipe Major getting the popping of the Champagne corks under way. Then, it’s your choice of which event you’d like to book during the evening, whether you prefer The ‘Gathering of the Clans’ formal ceilidh or the family gathering ‘Hogmanay Hoolie’ at The Boat House, you’ll be for a jolly good time. This will be followed by a fireworks display at midnight, accompanied by a traditional pipe band.
Things don’t slow down on New Year’s Day either. We have a range of activities on offer, including a falconry display as well as a cruise along the loch among others, however if you would like to take things slightly easier after the celebrations of the night before, you can enjoy the many wonderful walks along the banks of Loch Lomond for a slightly more relaxing break.
