The Carrick Golf Course
One of Loch Lomond’s golfing crown jewels is our very own Carrick Golf Course. Designed by the highly acclaimed golf course designer, Doug Carrick, The Carrick Golf Course provides a truly memorable round of golf. The Carrick Golf Course has played host to several prestigious events including the Ladies Scottish Open, the PGA Cup and the Europro Tour. Professional golfers have been enjoying Loch Lomond golf at The Carrick since 2007. Since opening its doors to the world, The Carrick has welcomed over 250,000 players worldwide onto its greens. The 71 par course is perfectly designed to showcase every inch of the dramatic Scottish scenery on offer. Straddling the Highland Boundary Fault Line, 9 holes of the course are set in the Highlands and 9 are in the Lowlands. The first 9 holes are played over relatively flat, open land whereas the last 9 are set on elevated countryside with breath-taking views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond to the north. Both the high road and the low road offer golfers a picturesque view – just watch out for that distracting water hazard, you don’t want it destroying your par!
After your round, head to The Clubhouse at Cameron for a rewarding drink or bite to eat in our gastropub inspired restaurant and bar. Sumptuous leather seating, a traditional menu of old favourites, and cosy fires await in winter, while the terrace is the perfect place to sit back and reflect on your round during the warmer months.
